Farmers Without Borders is a farmer-led organization with a mission to support struggling agricultural communities in developing regions and to strengthen regenerative agriculture around the globe.
Please join FWB if you share our mission, vision and values. Membership is free. You will be able to immediately access the Member Area and participate fully in the organization.
The vision for Farmers Without Borders is that it will be a decentralized organization focused on goals that are practical and needed. Our vision is also to be very inclusive, welcoming participation from all people - regardless of where they live. The Constitution requires a majority of the Board to be farmers in order to protect the vision that FWB will be driven by farmers.
At the moment FWB has no staff and no funding directed to administration - we are propelled solely by volunteer energy.
We are currently searching for individuals willing and able to take on a leadership role with the organization as the current Directors are strong supporters but lack the time and resources to advance FWB's development.
If you support FWB's mission, vision and values then I urge you to get involved at this creative moment. Your skills and energy will enable FWB to achieve its mission to support struggling agricultural communities in developing regions and to strengthen regenerative agriculture around the globe.
Kind regards,
Samuel Godfrey, Director, Farmers Without Borders.

PS.
I'm happy to share this 2012 letter from VIDEA acknowledging the recent contribution made by FWB in Lundazi, Zambia.

PPS. I am pleased to acknowledge the excellent work of Carmen Fletcher who organized a fundraiser for FWB which raised over $700 CDN. Thanks Carmen! These funds were allocated to the FWB partner and registered Charity VIDEA as well as their Zambian partner 'Women for Change' in order to support the development efforts of a subsistence farming community in the eastern region of Lundazi. Specifically, the funds will be used to offset the costs of establishing a bore-hole to provide clean drinking water. Here are a few pictures of the event:

PPPS. I'm happy to report that our recent fundraiser netted over $5000 in one evening! All the money raised will be used by the registered Charity VIDEA and their Zambian partner 'Women for Change' in order to support the development efforts of a subsistence farming community in the eastern region of Lundazi. Specifically, the funds will be used to offset the costs of establishing a bore-hole to provide clean drinking water. The poster below has more information.
